SkyThex Tech ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the SkyThex Tech platform, a social media management and content scheduling service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password.
- Billing Information: We collect payment details (credit card number, billing address) to process your subscription. Payment data is handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc., and is not stored on our servers.
- Profile Information: Any additional information you add to your profile such as a display name or avatar.
- Communications: Messages you send us via support channels, contact forms, or email.
- Social Media Credentials: OAuth tokens for connected social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest). We store only the tokens necessary to post on your behalf; we do not store your social media passwords.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, click patterns, and other interaction data collected via server logs and analytics.
- Device Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers.
- Cookies and Tracking: Session cookies (required for login and security), preference cookies (to remember your settings), and analytics cookies. See Section 7 for details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and subscription.
- To process payments and send billing-related communications.
- To provide the core features of the Service, including scheduling and publishing posts to your connected social accounts.
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts).
- To send service updates, feature announcements, and promotional communications (you may opt out at any time).
- To monitor and improve platform performance, security, and reliability.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal bases for processing your personal data are:
- Contract Performance: Processing necessary to deliver the Service you subscribed to.

4. Sharing Your Information

- Stripe, Inc. – Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
- Cloud Infrastructure Providers – Hosting and storage (servers in the United States). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- Analytics Services – Aggregated, anonymized usage data for platform improvement.
- Email Service Providers – Transactional and marketing email delivery.
- Social Media Platforms – Content is published to platforms you connect (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) using the permissions you grant via OAuth.
- Law Enforcement / Legal Process – When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- Business Transfers – In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified in advance.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your account:
- Your data is marked for deletion and removed within 90 days.
- Financial records (invoices, transaction logs) are retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
- Backup copies may persist for up to 30 additional days before permanent deletion.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations.

- Objection / Restriction: Object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for marketing emails or non-essential cookies at any time.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive credentials, regular security audits, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only. Despite these measures, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
10. International Data Transfers
Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We apply appropriate safeguards (including Standard Contractual Clauses where required by GDPR) for international transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or by sending an email to your registered address at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
